Registered Massage Therapy in Etobicoke - RMT Certified Care at InHealth

Massage therapy at InHealth Physiotherapy is delivered by Registered Massage Therapists (RMTs) certified with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO). Whether you are managing chronic muscle tension, recovering from a sports injury, dealing with stress-related pain, or looking for prenatal support, our RMTs tailor every session to your specific presentation rather than applying a one-size approach.

InHealth is a multidisciplinary clinic at 998 Martin Grove Road in Etobicoke. Your massage therapist works alongside our physiotherapists, chiropractors, and osteopaths- so if your concern involves more than one system, your care can involve more than one practitioner. Direct billing is available to most extended health plans. No referral is needed. Same-day appointments are often available, including Sundays 10am–1pm.

Types of Massage We Offer
Swedish massage :A full-body, flowing technique using long strokes and gentle pressure to promote relaxation, improve circulation, and reduce stress. An excellent starting point for new patients or those managing anxiety-related muscle tension.
Deep tissue massage: Firm, targeted pressure applied to the deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue. Used for chronic muscle tightness, postural tension, and areas of restricted mobility. Most effective for back, neck, and shoulder complaints.
Sports massage: Designed for active patients and athletes, with a focus on injury prevention, performance recovery, and targeted treatment of overuse patterns. Can be integrated with physiotherapy for sports injury rehabilitation.
Prenatal massage: Adapted techniques for each trimester to relieve lower back pain, hip discomfort, leg cramps, and swelling associated with pregnancy. Our RMTs are trained in prenatal positioning and safe pressure application throughout pregnancy.
Trigger point therapy :Focused pressure on specific hyperirritable spots in the muscle that refer pain to other areas. Particularly effective for headaches, jaw tension, and chronic neck-shoulder pain that does not respond to general massage.
Myofascial release: Gentle, sustained pressure into the fascial connective tissue to release restrictions, improve range of motion, and reduce pain. Often combined with deep tissue work for complex presentations.
Lymphatic drainage: Light, rhythmic strokes to stimulate lymph flow and reduce swelling. Used post-surgically, for lymphedema management, and to support immune function.
